Our Terms of Service govern your use of the ProofBadge platform, including your rights and responsibilities as a user.

Service Description
ProofBadge is a financial verification service that allows buyers to prove they have sufficient funds for a purchase. We are not:
- A financial institution
- A lending service
- A payment processor
- A background check service
- An escrow service
- A credit reporting agency
- An identity verification service
We do not facilitate transactions, hold funds, transfer money, or guarantee the completion of any sale between users. ProofBadge does not perform credit checks, criminal background checks, or identity verification. Our sole function is to verify that a buyer’s account balance meets a specified minimum proof-of-funds amount.
Limitation of Liability
ProofBadge provides verification services only. We do not:
- Guarantee the identity of any user
- Perform criminal background checks
- Verify the legitimacy of items for sale
- Guarantee that transactions will be completed
- Assume responsibility for user conduct
- Guarantee the accuracy of financial data from third-party providers
- Hold, transfer, or process payment between buyers and sellers
A successful fund check indicates only that a buyer’s connected account balance met the specified amount at the time of verification. It does not guarantee that funds will remain available, that the buyer will complete the purchase, or that the transaction will be safe or legitimate.
Users are responsible for their own safety when meeting for transactions. We recommend following safe transaction practices, including meeting in public places and bringing a companion.
Your Data
We do not sell your personal information. ProofBadge will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Pricing
- Sellers: Free to use. Sellers can create unlimited verification links at no cost.
- Buyers: A Buyer Pass costs $10 USD and provides 30 days of unlimited fund checks.
Buyer Pass purchases are non-refundable. Pricing is subject to change.
